Overview
I've been working 3 years in La Banque Postale (a major french banking company) as aInfrastructure engineer. I've been assigned into an automation team of 8 engineers. Our team was central in the Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS) organization, we was automating the compute and storage provisionning and was directly in contact with the end users. We was orchestrating the configuration of system, network, storage, tool install, backup agnet enrollment ... We was managing the whole machine lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Interview end user to understand their usage of IT infrastructure,
- Automate packaged infrastructure delivery according to their needs,
- Put API in place to allow catalog consuming from ITSM system,
- Vendor point of contact for tools upgrade and patching.
Achievements
- Automated 10 infrastructure catalog items developed (Windows, RHEL, AIX, Oracle Database, SQL Server, DB2 Servers, Database Clustering)
- Delivered secure API endpoints to manage the whole lifecycle of machines (Creation, CPU-MEM-Disk-Clustering Upgrade, Decomission)
